Welcome to Restoran Hin Hoong, a hidden gem nestled within the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This charming Chinese restaurant, located at G13, Jalan KLIA 1/60, has quickly become a favorite stop for travelers seeking hearty and authentic Malaysian flavors before catching their flights. With a commendable reputation for delicious noodles and robust broths, Restoran Hin Hoong is a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.
The moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful culinary journey. Diners will find a variety of Chinese dishes, but it’s the noodles that truly steal the spotlight. As highlighted by satisfied customers, the dry noodle with dumplings offers a memorable experience with large, generously filled dumplings that are simply bursting with flavor. While some may find the noodles not as springy, their taste more than compensates for it, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality.
Another standout dish is the curry laksa. For those unprepared for its velvety richness, be advised: this dish is indulgently creamy and packed with a flavorful punch. Diners rave about its magical balance of spiciness and umami, enhanced with juicy cockles and tender chicken, making it a comforting choice that warms the soul. Echoing Michael Wong’s sentiments, it’s hard to overstate the sheer joy of slurping up those noodles, soaked in that thick, alluring broth.
Service at Restoran Hin Hoong is swift and attentive, making it ideal for those in a hurry. The kitchen is bustling, especially closer to noon when many dishes sell out fast—a testament to the popularity of the establishment. Whether you opt for the prawn noodles, which embrace the delicious essence of prawns in a tantalizing broth, or the crispy pork noodles topped with lard that adds a soulful crunch, each creation is crafted with care.
Easy parking is a bonus here, letting you fill up your stomach before heading off to the airport. With each visit, it becomes clear why so many keep recommending Restoran Hin Hoong as the go-to spot for a delightful meal, bridging the gap between convenience and culinary excellence. Famous eateries before going to KLIA. First time trying out this shop because the next door one which i wanted to go, was closed. Not so packed during late breakfast hour. I tried the dry noodle with dumplings. Very delicious huge dumplings with generous fillings. The noodle was not as springy as what I expected but nice. The red chilies were spicy. Curry noodle was a bit diluted for me. Pork noodles was yummy too with crispy lard topping. Coffee was acceptably strong. Service was fast and good.

Updated review: Nearly all the dishes were sold out by noon time. Luckily, we managed to order the last bowl of prawn noodles for the day. Soup was really prawny and packed with flavours. Prawns itself was a bit small but they were de-shelled so it’s a big plus. Previous review: Tried the curry laksa here and it was very creamy and flavourful. The dish comes with some cockles, tau pok and steamed chicken. The broth itself wasn’t very spicy at all. The bee hoon soaked up some of the broth and became even more tastier as time goes by. Will definitely try the other dishes on my next visit.

Had an hour to kill while waiting for a flight to arrive, so I wandered into the nearby Restoran Hin Hoong with zero expectations. Ordered their curry laksa… and wow, what a surprise. The gravy is the kind your doctor warns you about — thick, rich with santan, and unapologetically vein-clogging in the best way possible. The spice level hits that sweet spot between fiery and addictive, while the fresh, plump cockles give it that extra oomph. Noodles slurp-worthy, broth sinful — this bowl turned a casual detour into a memorable pit stop. Sometimes the unplanned meals turn out to be the real winners.

It was my first time here and also recommended by a Japanese client . We had ordered a Sar Poh Noodle with pork. The taste is delicious . A lot of local people will stop by before going to the airport. Definitely will recommend this shop to others as well. The carpark is using the new carplate scanning technology but need to beware when you coming in the plate number is correct or you will have problem when you are out at the carpark as it will show no check in database.

Pretty clean, typical Chinese restaurant. The curry mee was good. Too bad they don’t serve hot drinks like coffee/tea/milo. Order came fast despite being busy.

The food was quite delicious and had a large portion, and was reasonably priced (slightly pricier than your average kopitiam). I ordered a bowl of Prawn Noodles (虾面) and Teh c Iced at a cost of RM14.50. The service is pretty good, just wave your hand a bit and get yourself an attentive waiter/waitress to take your orders for drinks. Atmosphere is more or less what you can expect from kopitiams, but it does add to the charm of it. Undeniably, it's a great place to have breakfast/lunch before continuing onwards to the airport. Overall, not bad, food tastes good, slightly pricier, kopitiam-esque environment.
